Ascend Productions was built around a simple observation, one that kept coming up in business after business. Most organisations actually have solid training. The knowledge is there. The standards exist. What's missing is any reliable way to get that knowledge in front of people in a way they'll actually absorb.
Procedures sit in manuals that nobody reads. Inductions get rushed because the person running them has six other things going on that day. New starters spend their first week piecing together information from multiple sources and still walk away unsure they've got it right.
Online modules and written materials have their place, and so do assessments and quizzes. But when it comes to actually engaging people in the moment, video wins. People are far more likely to watch a short, well-produced video than to work through pages of written content. And when they do watch it, they retain significantly more of what they saw. That isn't an opinion. It's just how people learn.
Ascend Productions exists because of that gap. Armed with a camera, a genuine interest in how businesses actually operate, and a belief that training doesn't have to be painful, we set out to help Queensland businesses build video systems that work.
